Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern all quotes and services provided by Whitehouse Painting (“we/us”). By accepting a quote or booking work, you agree to these terms.

1. Quotes & Pricing

• Quotes are based on the scope described. Hidden issues (e.g., damp, loose plaster) may require a variation.
• Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for 30 days.
• Fixed price includes labour and materials specified. Upgrades are priced as extras.

2. Deposits & Payments

• A deposit may be required to secure dates and materials.
• Balance is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Late payment may incur statutory interest and recovery costs (Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act).

3. Scheduling & Access

• We’ll agree start dates and estimated durations in writing.
• Client ensures safe access, utilities, and clear work areas.
• Weather may impact exterior works; in such cases, we’ll reschedule to protect finish quality.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Move small items and valuables before we arrive. We can help move large furniture if agreed.
• Keep pets/children away from work areas for safety.
• Notify us of any known issues (asbestos, leaks, structural movement).

5. Materials & Colour

• We use professional systems. Where a brand is specified, availability may affect lead times.
• Colour matches are best-effort; lighting and substrates can cause variation. Samples available on request.

6. Changes & Extras

Variations must be agreed via written change note with revised price/time.

7. Cancellations & Delays

• If you cancel within 7 days of start, we may retain the deposit and charge non-refundable materials.
• If we must delay (e.g., severe weather), we’ll reschedule at the earliest safe opportunity.

8. Health, Safety & RAMS

We work to safe systems. RAMS are available on request for commercial sites.

9. Liability

We’re fully insured. We’re not liable for pre-existing defects, third-party damage, or consequential losses.

10. Photos & Marketing

With your consent, we may take before/after photos. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

11. Guarantee

Our workmanship guarantee is outlined on the Guarantee page and forms part of these terms.

12. Complaints

Please contact info@whitehousepainting.co.uk. We aim to resolve issues promptly and fairly.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Venue: local courts as applicable.
